Today, Shri Santosh J. Patil, General Secretary of the Petroleum Employees Union (PEU), Mumbai, Simanchal pradhan, Secretary, PEU held a meeting with the Honorable Shri Sunil Tatkare Ji, Chairman of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Parliamentary Committee, India.
During the meeting, the Union submitted concerns related to:
- O&M contracts initiated by the management in the core operations of ONGC.
- The halted recruitment at staff levels.
- Cases related to the regularisation of direct employees and term-based employees.
- Pay revision for the secondary workforce, including contract employees, term-based employees, and direct employees.
Other issues concerning ONGC’s Mumbai region were also discussed.
The Honorable Shri Sunil Tatkare Ji, Chairman of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Parliamentary Committee, assured the Union that he will look into the matter positively and discuss it with ONGC’s higher management.
