Dear Friends,

As you are aware that the management had invited the General Secretaries of all the work centres for an interactive session with our Chairman and CEO.

The Chairman welcomed all the unions and interacted on various aspects of growth and diversification of ONGC and future planning.

He also appreciated the constructive role of unions and thanked the Workmen of ONGC for their contribution to ONGC.
CEO also sought suggestions from Unions on how to enhance production further.
He also appraised that ONGC is looking forward for technical collaboration with overseas partners to enhance the production of Western Offshore.

After the meeting with CMD the following issues were taken up and discussed with DHR, Chief ER and Chief HRD comprehensively for immediate resolution.

1. Safety.
2. R&P Issues.
3. Quality of PPE Safety Shoes etc.
4. Clearance of OT for COVID.
5. Leave Anomaly of 2 Days ON/OFF Duty Pattern.
6. Four Wheeler CMRE for W/A/F Level.
7. Wage Revision of Contingent Employees.
8. Extension of Tenure of Field Operators from 50 to 60 yrs.
9. Enhancement of Remuneration of TBFOs
10. Redesignation of Class IV Employees.
11. Addressing Criss Cross system of Medical Payments Process.
12. Standardization in dealing with pending Mutual Transfer Cases.
13. Departmental Candidates joining ONGC after age of 45 & denied Post Retirement Medical Benifits, issue taken up by PEU Mumbai resolved. All will get PRMBenifits.
14. The Clause to deny 4 Wheeler insurance if 2 wheeler in name of Employee, Management agreed to remove the Clause & allow Insurance reimbursement.

Chief ER and Chief HRD has agreed to hold an exclusive meeting on R&P issues in August 2024.

Furthermore, General Secretary PEU(W.O.U.) also met newly appointed Director(Finance), Welcomed him & raised the issue of Pending TA Bills & Rejections to which he assured he will look into the matter & take necessary action at the earliest.
