Petroleum employees union and ASTO along with Karmachari Sangathana met EC at Vasudhara Bhavan and conveyed the feelings of offshore employees.
Management has assured that an immediate audit of PAWAN HANS will be carried out by two different agencies, only after which any PAWAN HANS flight will be allowed for Offshore operations.
An additional compensation of 30 lakhs is being handed over to the deceased family member including the contractual manpower by today itself, followed by the recruitment of the dependent of ONGCian within 15 days.
An Air insurance and compensation policy for all the offshore going employees of ONGC with a good amount is also under process and will be finalised within one month.
An Aviation Expert will be recruited and deputed at Helibase, within a short period, who will be responsible for each chopper inspection before departing for offshore.
Field allowances will be finalised shortly as assured by the EC.
Regular safety meetings will be conducted at locations.
Employment to dependent of the deceased employes.
