Attention all :<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Petroleum Employees Union, Mumbai is fighting a legal battle against the unjust 21-day duty pattern during the monsoon.
In this regard, the Hon. CGIT Nagpur delivered a historic judgment on May 15, 2026, stating that “workers must be paid overtime (OT) for the 7 days from the 15th to the 21st day.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The management has approached the
Hon. Bombay High Court against this decision of the Hon.CGIT.
The hearing for this case took place on June 22, 2026, in the Hon. Bombay High Court. Since the union received the petition just two days ago, the union’s lawyers requested a next date to get time to file the reply to the petition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accordingly, the next hearing will be held on Tuesday July 14, 2026, in the Hon. Bombay High Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
