In this regard, it is submitted that the Petroleum Employees Union<\/a>, Mumbai had filed a Writ Petition before the Hon\u2019ble High Court at Mumbai challenging the unilateral implementation of the 21 days offshore duty pattern by ONGC Management for the period from 15.05.2026 to 20.09.2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subsequently, the Hon\u2019ble High Court was pleased to direct the matter to the Hon\u2019ble Central Government Industrial Tribunal (CGIT), Nagpur for adjudication. Accordingly, the Hon\u2019ble CGIT, Nagpur has passed an Order dated 15.05.2026, whereby it has been held that the employees\/workmen performing offshore duty beyond the standard 14 days offshore duty cycle shall be entitled to overtime wages for the additional period of duty performed beyond standard 14 days offshore Duty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In view of the above Order, I hereby place on record that any duty performed by me beyond 14 days offshore duty shall be treated as overtime duty and I am entitled to overtime wages\/benefits according to aforesaid order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is submitted for your kind information, record, and necessary consideration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
